Casting metal type structure

The structure of the metal type depends on the shape and size of the casting; the number of parting surfaces; the type of alloy and the production batch. According to the location of the parting surface, the metal structure has the following forms:

1. The overall metal type, the mold has no parting surface, and the structure is simple, but it is only suitable for castings with simple shape and no parting surface;

2. Horizontal type metal type, which is suitable for thin-walled wheel castings.

3, vertical type metal type, this type of metal is easy to open the riser and exhaust system, easy to open and close, easy to achieve mechanized production; mostly used to produce simple small castings;

4. Integrated metal type: It consists of two or more parting surfaces, even consisting of moving blocks, which are generally used for the production of complex castings. It is easy to operate and widely used in production.
