How should the servo motor be selected? Dalan Motor tells you

With the wide application of servo motors, how to select servo motors has become a problem. Dalan Motor Xiaobian made an inductive summary for your reference only. You can start from the following aspects: 1. Confirmation of servo motor speed and encoder resolution. 2. Calculation of load torque on the motor shaft and calculation of acceleration and deceleration torque. 3. Calculate the load inertia and the inertia match, the smaller the better in the actual use process, so the accuracy and response speed are good. 4, the calculation and selection of regenerative resistors, for the servo, generally 2kw or more, to be configured outside. 5, cable selection, encoder cable twisted shield, for the Yaskawa servo and other Japanese products absolute encoder is 6 core, incremental is 4 core. 6. Braking method, users often confuse the effects of dynamic braking, regenerative braking and electromagnetic braking, and choose the wrong accessories. 1 Dynamic brake is composed of dynamic braking resistor, which shortens the mechanical feed distance of servo motor by energy consumption braking in case of fault, emergency stop and power failure. The dynamic brake does not require power supply when working, and requires external relay control. The dynamic brake is normally started after SV, OFF or the main circuit is de-energized, otherwise the dynamic braking resistor may overheat. 2 Regenerative braking means that the servo motor returns the energy generated by the braking to the DC bus through the inverter loop when it is decelerating or stopping, and is absorbed by the RC circuit. The work of regenerative braking is automatically performed by the system and must be activated when the servo is working normally. The motor cannot be braked in the event of a fault, an emergency stop, or a power failure. 3 Electromagnetic brake is a shaft that locks the motor by mechanical means. When the electromagnetic brake is working, no power supply is required, and external relay control is required. The electromagnetic brake is generally started after SV and OFF, otherwise the amplifier may be overloaded. 7. Precautions 1 Protection of servo motor oil and water a. Servo motor can be used in places where it will be affected by water or oil droplets, but it is not fully waterproof or oil-proof. Therefore, the servo motor should not be placed or used in water or in an oily environment. b. If the servo motor is connected to a reduction gear, the oil seal should be applied when using the servo motor to prevent the oil of the reduction gear from entering the servo motor. c. Do not immerse the servo motor cable in oil or water. 2 Servo motor cable, reduce stress a, ensure that the cable is not subjected to torque or vertical load due to external bending force or its own weight, especially at the cable exit or joint. b. In the case of servo motor movement, the cable should be securely fastened to a stationary part and should be extended with an additional cable installed in the cable support so that bending stress can be minimized. c. The elbow radius of the cable is as large as possible. 3 The shaft end load allowed by the servo motor a, to ensure that the radial and axial loads applied to the servo motor shaft during installation and operation are controlled within the specified values of each model. b. Be extremely careful when installing a rigid coupling, especially excessive bending loads that can cause damage or wear to the shaft ends and bearings. c. It is best to use a flexible coupling so that the radial load is below the allowable value. This material is designed for high mechanical strength servo motors. d. For the allowable shaft load, refer to the "Allowable shaft load table" (Instructions for Use). 4 Servo motor installation Note a. When installing/disassembling the coupling parts to the servo motor shaft end, do not hit the shaft end directly with a hammer. b. Try to align the shaft end to the best condition. If it is not good, it may cause vibration or bearing damage. ----- Responsible Editor: Dalan Oil Pump Motor 02- Purchasing Consultant Copyright http:/(Dalan Motor) Reprint, please indicate the source http://news.chinawj.com.cn
