Hydropower process

The process of conventional hydropower generation is: after the water in the river is taken through the water-blocking facility, it is sent to the power plant through water tunnels such as pressure tunnels and pressure pipes. When the unit is to be operated to generate electricity, the main valve (similar to the function of the faucet in the home) is opened, and then opened. The guide wing (the small water gate that actually controls the output force) causes the water to impact the turbine. After the turbine rotates, the generator rotates. After the generator is excited, the generator establishes the voltage and starts to send the power to the power system after the breaker is put into operation. If the output of the generator set is to be adjusted, the opening degree of the guide vane can be adjusted to increase or decrease the water volume. The water after power generation is returned to the river channel via the tail water channel to supply water for downstream use.
