The two national standards of "Redwood Commercial Name" and "Redwood Product Grade" will be implemented in November.

Recently, the reporter was informed that the "Redwood Commercial Name" (SB/T10758-2012) and "Redwood Product Grade" (SB/T10759-2012) drafted by the Redwood Professional Committee of the China Wood and Wood Products Circulation Association were drafted by the People's Republic of China. The Ministry of Commerce issued the Ministry of Commerce Announcement No. 47 of 2012 on August 1, 2012, and will officially implement it on November 1, 2012.

According to the requirements of the Ministry of Commerce's "Notice on the First Batch of Domestic Trade Industry Standard Projects in 2010" (Commerce Office Letter [2010] No. 377), the Redwood Professional Committee is responsible for the "Redwood Commercial Name" and " Drafting of the two standards for mahogany grades. After experiencing the stages of drafting, completing the draft for comments, soliciting opinions and completing the draft for review, the Ministry of Commerce organized an expert review meeting in Beijing on May 5, 2012. The experts at the meeting proposed amendments to the draft for review. The review of the two standard review drafts was unanimously adopted. The drafting group will modify the standard according to the expert opinion and form a draft for approval, and report it to the Ministry of Commerce according to relevant procedures.

On August 1, 2012, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China officially released two industry standards, “Redwood Commercial Name” (SB/T10758-2012) and “Redwood Product Grade” (SB/T10759-2012). It was officially implemented on November 1, 2012. The promulgation and implementation of the "Redwood Commercial Name" (SB/T10758-2012) and "Redwood Product Grade" (SB/T10759-2012) are a major event in the mahogany furniture industry. Standard implementation can strengthen the standardized management of the mahogany furniture industry, establish a system corresponding to the foreign rosewood import and export system, promote the mahogany culture, avoid disputes and disputes caused by the confusion of the name of the mahogany commercial, and make the mahogany furniture industry in China develop healthily and steadily. At the same time, the legitimate rights and interests of producers and consumers are effectively protected.

The implementation of the "Redwood Products Grade" (SB/T10759-2012) standard will promote the scientific management of mahogany enterprises, save the resources of mahogany, promote the technological and technological innovation of mahogany products, promote industrial upgrading, avoid the chaotic status of the market of mahogany products, and protect The legitimate rights and interests of producers and consumers.
