4, the system software design
The software of the system includes the human-computer interaction interface DP210 program and the system's main control program. The DP210 program completes the dialogue between the operator and the PLC, mainly the mutual conversion between the individual operation screens and the control bits of the PLC program corresponding to each key operation in each operation screen. The program screen should be adapted to the workflow at the production site, and the higher the previous screen, the higher the usage rate.
After the PLC program receives the operation signal of the DP210, it controls the entire tool head according to the work requirements. The flow chart of the main program is shown in Figure 3. The core control in the PLC main control program is the control of the stepping motor. The program for starting the 1# stepping motor is shown in Figure 4. The procedure for controlling the motor direction is shown in Figure 5.

5, the conclusion
The system designed in this paper is simple in operation, wide in processing products and high in processing precision, and has been successfully applied in production practice. The flat head machine has now carried out the flat head of the regular geometry at a material manufacturing plant. Since the beginning of production, the system has been running stably, the product quality has improved significantly, and the scrap rate has dropped significantly. At the same time, the labor intensity of the operator is greatly reduced, the production efficiency is improved, and the flat head of other devices can also be used. In addition, we design a range of cutter head sizes to accommodate flat head movements of different workpiece sizes and have a replaceable function.
