Five aspects of wood identification

First, look at the material. You can use the tap to hear the sound, and the sound of the wood is mellow and textured. Among them, Sapele, ebony, rosewood, teak, cherry wood, walnut, etc. are imported wood.

Second, look at textures. Due to the use of natural wood, the original wooden door is unavoidable with its natural texture and natural defects. Other wood doors can use any kind of wood for internal filling, such as wood-based panels, etc., and the exterior uses beautiful wood as decoration.

Third, see the weight. The most intuitive way to measure the price of wooden doors is weight and stability. Therefore, the heavier the wooden door feels, the better the door is.

Fourth, the dry humidity cycle. Due to the relatively humid weather in the south, the dry-to-wet ratio of wood is in the normal range of 8-12 degrees. Wood is stored for 20 days to a month in the natural environment and can only be used after reaching a certain degree of dryness.

Fifth, carving process. Good carving techniques give people a kind of artistic enjoyment. They are all hand-carved and have a strong sense of three-dimensionality. The carvings are lifelike, vivid and natural is the best, and it is the soul of a door.
