Soda ash industry demand is expected to increase

Wyorning soda ash makers and manufacturers around the world have dropped by 8% in the consumption ratio last year. However, despite this, demand in the next five years is still on the rise. An industrial survey in London released the report on Monday, saying that due to the emergence of economic glass markets in Asia and South America, the demand for soda ash will increase by 3% by 2015. Soda ash can be used in glass, soap and detergents in addition to the chemical industry.

Wyoorning is almost a supplier of soda ore to the entire country. Tribune said that the five soda ash companies in Green River Basin accounted for 93% of the United States.

The increase in demand for the soda ash industry lasted for 10 years but declined in 2009, mainly due to the reduced demand for glass. The report said that 10.9 million tons of soda ash produced by Wyorning last year accounted for 24% of the world's total.

China’s share of production with 42% exceeds that of the United States, making it the largest soda ash producer and consumer country since 2003.
