Wuhai District Coal Bureau of Inner Mongolia strengthens coal mine supervision to ensure safe production

In order to further improve the safety production of coal mines and ensure the stable production situation of local coal mines in the jurisdiction, the Bureau of Coastal Coal has recently conducted a two-week inspection of the safety of coal mine production.

The inspection focused on “one pass and three defenses”, prevention and control of water, roof management, and transportation safety. The local coal mines were also closed for holidays, the implementation of specific measures for safe production, the duty of leading cadres on duty, and the status of going downhole. Inspection of the mine safety supervisors conducted a thorough inspection. In case of non-compliance with safe production conditions found in the inspection, the inspector shall order it to make corrections within a time limit; penalties shall be imposed on the existence of illegal production. The inspectors also urged coal mining companies to formulate rectification plans, implement rectification measures, and promote the safe production management of enterprises.

The inspections issued a total of 9 rectification instructions, 46 safety hazards and problems, 38 rectifications, and 8 rectifications within a time limit.
